Lauren has recently finished off her Bachelor of Counselling at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
She believes that the client is the expert in their own life and experience and works collaboratively to achieve their goals.
Lauren has experience in working closely with young people and women, including biblical counselling. Also, she has spent time working with people struggling with addiction, both individually and in groups.
Lauren has experience in utilising cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, brief solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational interviewing. Lauren runs both individual sessions and groups with an integrative approach that works best for the client/s.
Lauren is available for in-person counselling and video counselling (zoom).
Lauren’s hobbies include zentangling, drawing, writing, reading, and walking when it’s not too hot.
