Dr Carolyn Russell
GP Counsellor
Carolyn works in all areas of general counselling and has a particular interest in couples counselling. She is an accredited Gottman Couples Therapist and uses this approach in her counselling of couples.
In addition to general counselling, Carolyn has experience as an educator with RACGP for counselling/mental health, the Cognitive Institute and Tutor's group with the University of Queensland.
Carolyn is the the co-founder and director of Foundations Counselling Centre and is well-known as a caring and very competent professional who has significant experience in helping clients manage their life challenges. She could be described as a ‘people person’ and has a particular interest in a ‘whole of life’ approach to ministry and wellness. She is also a passionate quilter and fabric-dyer.
Carolyn is not taking new clients at the moment.
