M.Couns, BEd (Sec)Violeta has an education background and is a counsellor who trusts that every individual can self-actualise given the space for safety and connection to explore their life’s challenges. Violy offers this with a deep sense of empathy and non-judgment through the growth and healing process in counselling. She also believes that suffering is a shared humanity and that she is keen to sit with clients in their suffering and celebrate their small wins every step of the way.
Violy works across the life span with depression, anxiety, loss and grief issues, stress management and identity crisis. Violy is in ongoing training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which is her new interest in her counselling work. Her practice is based on the Person-Centred approach, Somatic work, and Neuroscience and integrates other approaches and modalities tailored to her client’s unique needs, including Christian worldview, upon request. Coming from an Asian background, she values cultural diversity in her practice.
