Fees vary and our receptionists will be able to assist you with individual rates. As a guideline, costs for a session lasting 50 minutes to 1 hour are as follows:

  • GP Counsellors: $110 to $220
  • Psychologists: $170 to $200
  • Counsellors: $90 to $130
  • Counselling students: Free

Payment can be made in cash or via EFTPOS. Diners Club and American Express cards are not accepted.

Mental Health Care Plans & Medicare rebates

Mental Health Care Plan referrals are issued by General Practitioners (GPs) and allow Medicare rebates for a defined number of sessions per calendar year.

These are available for sessions with Psychologists. Medicare rebates are not available for sessions with counsellors.

Getting a Mental Health Care Plan referral

Make an appointment with your GP (half an hour is recommended) and ask to be assessed for a Mental Health Care Plan. Please advise your GP which Psychologist you would like to see so they can include this on the referral letter.

Bulk-billing is not automatic, but is at the discretion of the practitioner.
