Heather has extensive experience in counselling across the lifespan with adults, couples, families, and children.

Heather’s approaches are tailored to meet everyone at their point of need in a safe and supportive manner.

Her expertise which includes the areas of stress, depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, and loss using positive change strategies is informed by her background in psychology, counselling, and teaching.

Heather has completed Level 3 in Gottman Method Couples Therapy to equip her special interest in Couples and Relationship Counselling.

These effective therapeutic approaches include Focused Therapeutic Strategies integrating Motivational Interviewing, Structured Problem-solving, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapies.
