Liz has a range of experiences working in relationship and individual counselling, and as a Family Relationship Advisor. She has engaged in further training, with her preferred approaches being Collaborative and Solution-focussed. People manage their lives better when they are heard and validated in respectful ways, and when they act intentionally based on their values.
Her particular specialist areas are:
- couple work – both reconciliation and separation counselling
- persons experiencing change, grief and loss
- women living with and/or recovering from interpersonal violence
Liz continues to learn resilience in coping with change, loss and grief in her own life. Through the Good Grief organisation, she is an accredited facilitator of Seasons for Growth groups for adults experiencing change, loss and grief.
