Cherrie enjoys working with children and young people to give them support in
- building healthy self-esteem,
- providing the skills to prevent bullying, and
- supporting them and their families in times of grief and loss due to death, separation, divorce and distance employment.
She provides alcohol and substance abuse support, together with assistance and counselling for families and friends of those affected by alcohol and drug dependence.
Cherrie has a background in the job services industry and is able to offer vocational counselling for those who are currently facing barriers to employment. Cherrie will assist you to address your barriers by providing strategies to overcome these barriers which will assist you to gain sustainable employment.
Cherrie believes that Emotional Focus Therapy supports new and established couples to connect. New couples starting their relationship journey have the chance of starting from a solid foundation. Established couples may wish to reconnect after children leaving home, retirement, finding new interesting or wishing to discover new adventures in a safe environment.
Cherrie offers a service to women and men to enable them to embrace soul searching and to empower them to start a new life after going through the difficulties of separation and divorce. The new start for women may include, for example, changes in areas of study, family, career and or work. Cherrie can support this journey for these changes to transform your life.
